The Vancouver Polo Club had barely begun before the Great War. After the Armistice, the club came quickly back onto the field and began a decade of great play which saw it dominate a long series of provincial championships against teams from the Interior and acquit itself well against top-flight opposition from the American Pacific Northwest.
